Dear Mamas who feel like they’re spinning their wheels,
Let me start by saying, you are enough.
No amount of productivity can increase your worth. No amount of perfect workouts, perfect eating, perfect hair, perfect makeup, or perfect words can make God love you more. You are enough.
With that truth in mind, it’s frustrating to feel like you were made for more than the life you’re living.
And you were. This is not our eternal home. But we do have this gift of one, beautiful, crazy life . So let’s live it!
I started this site because I was tired of sitting on the sidelines. I was tired of thinking about all the things I wanted to do. But even more, I realized all the women who were out there hurting that I could help.
So if you need a little motivation today, that’s what I urge you to look toward. Look toward your children, your sisters, your friends. Look at the people around you who are in need. And imagine how a little love can change their perspectives. Ultimately, these little changes are what change our lives.
You can change lives through small moments! Do not let that pass you by.
One of the ways that I have incorporated this into my life is through using my Powersheets from Lara Casey and the Making Things Happen ladies. (No, I’m not getting paid to promote. I just really think they have made such a difference for me, and I want that for you too!)
While I have big dreams that are still waiting to bloom, I would not have made it this far without the help of this little goal-setting process.
Lara is all about that “it’s okay to grow slow.” Baby steps over time, putting one foot in front of the other. And that’s what I want you to know today too. One foot in front of the other is enough.
One day, I hope I can attend the Making Things Happen conference, and meet some of the lovely ladies who have helped sprout this journey I’m on. (Click on the link above to learn more about it)
But until then, I want you to know that I’ll be here – putting one foot in front of the other and looking for ways to help bring joy to the people around me.
P.S. Let me know how I can encourage you better by reaching out to me here!
